Oxygen Administration Training

This course is ideal for those using oxygen in the workplace (lifeguards, industrial employees, emergency medical services (EMS) professionals, etc).  Participants will learn how to operate various oxygen devices, and how to respond to and treat respiratory emergencies.

Target Group

This course is for people who must know how to utilize oxygen therapy, airway adjuncts, and have current certification in CPR Level C or HCP, or are registered for an O2/CPR combination course on the same day.

Oxygen Administration Course Content

  • Breathing devices

  • Suction

  • Resuscitation masks

  • Bag‐valve‐masks (BVM): Adult, Child, Infant

  • Supplemental oxygen

  • Delivery devices

Approximate Course Length: 2-4 hours

Students must pass a written exam and skills test in order to qualify for an Oxygen Administration certification card.
